Caloundra Air Museum Engines Alive Day
Supported by Corvettes Down-Under Car Club.
Sunday 7th April 2018
Well, Jan did a great job of organising something a little bit different for a run. She had heard that the Caloundra Air Museum was having an Engines Alive day where they start up some the aircraft that they have at the museum. So with the support of 14 Corvettes we rolled up to the museum and parking right beside the main hangar. The Vettes looked great and there was plenty to see. Even Gazza who has lived in Caloundra all his life was surprised at how big it was. They even had their own F-111 on display.
I’m sure everyone who attended enjoyed the day. It was good to see Ron and his 2017 C7 ZO6/ZO7 out for a run. The car is a beast, and it was nice to have the only club C7 ZO6 in our display. It turned a lot of heads, and was well received by the general public. Thanks to all the members who came out to support the day.
