It seems that some people have trouble seeing the clubs webpage as it was designed to be seen, i.e., words hidden under pictures or having to use a scroll bar to see from left to right of a page...

The following is the common step by step procedure of adjusting your monitor to the desired screen resolution.  Variances may occur due to your video card and equipment, but most modern computers will have no trouble at all displaying these higher resolutions.  Some operating systems may differ slightly in the following procedure, but these are the steps to take if you are using any of the later versions of Microsoft TM 'Windows' TM

SO - How DO I change my screen (monitor) Resolution to 1024 x 768 Pixels so that I can see the club website as it is INTENDED to be seen?

...SIMPLE really;

On your computers DESKTOP (The background picture you see when no programs are open) Click your mouses RIGHT button ONCE.

You will then see a list of options; Click the bottom option called PROPERTIES with your LEFT mouse button (Once only)

On the DISPLAY PROPERTIES screen you will then see; click on SETTINGS.

On the bottom of this window, you will see a sliding SCREEN RESOLUTION bar...Slide the bar slowly to thew right until the word below that bar says

"1024 x 768 Pixels" the click APPLY.  Your screen will almost certainly go black for a few seconds - DON'T PANIC; This is NORMAL!

The computer will then ask if you want to keep this new setting; click YES or OK, depending on your operating system (Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP Home or PRO)

You might like to also take this moment to adjust your COLOUR QUALITY setting (on the right of the DISPLAY PROPERTIES screen you are looking at) and set this to HIGHEST (32 Bit) then click APPLY again.  You will then be asked again, if you want to keep this setting - click YES.

CONGRATULATIONS! - That's basically IT; if you have followed these instructions, you will now be able to enjoy not just the clubs website as it has been designed to be viewed, but also your pictures will look sharper and higher quality with these settings.

Note; if you are using a 14 or 15 inch monitor, you MAY need to adjust the height and width of the screen by finding the two knobs (Sometimes buttons) on the front panel of your monitor, and adjust them so that your screen is filled with the background etc to the edges or close to, of the screen and all usual buttons are seen.

* Depending on your visual preference or needs, you may also choose to adjust the FONT STYLE on your monitor after you have followed the above steps...You can do this by following the initial instructions above, to get you into PROPERTIES, then click APPEARANCE instead of SETTINGS and look for the FONT SIZE drop menu bottom left, where you can change the size of fonts from NORMAL to LARGE FONTS or EXTRA LARGE FONTS...

ENJOY!
